Suitable for beginners. During this willow trug workshop you will make a beautiful willow trug; this is a great basket for gathering fruit or veg, holding kindling or displaying fruit with. It is also ideal for gathering flowers.
This workshop is suitable for people looking to try willow basketry from scratch either as a beginner to improve their willow skills, it is not suitable for people with arthritis in their hands.

Suitable for beginners. During this willow trug workshop you will make a beautiful willow trug basket using traditional skills; you will learn the basics of square basketry weave.
This workshop is suitable for people looking to have a go at willow basketry or to improve their willow skills, it is not suitable for people with arthritis in their hands.
You will receive joining instructions one week before the workshop and everything in included in the price except lunch (light refreshments, hot drinks, tools for the day and willow) so please bring your own lunch with you. There is a very nice Cafe in the building 'The Little Teapot Cafe' there menu is online.
Cancellation policy: If you cancel 7 days prior to the workshop starting you will receive a full refund. However after that you will only receive half the workshop cost as the willow will be in the process of preparation. You may be able to move your workshop place depending on your situation and availability.
