Willow Trug Workshop

Venue: The Old Girls' School, 18 Kirkgate, Sherburn in Elmet LS25 6BL

Suitable for beginners. During this willow basket workshop you will make a traditional willow trug, ready to put to use in the spring / summer time for gathering your vegetables, fruit or flowers. You will learn the basics of square basketry making completely from scratch using somerset willow and traditional tools.

This workshop is suitable for people looking to have a go at willow basketry or to improve their willow skills, it is not suitable for people with arthritis in their hands.

You will receive joining instructions one week before the workshop and everything in included in the price except lunch (light refreshments, hot drinks, tools for the day and willow) so please bring your own lunch with you.

Cancellation policy: If you cancel 7 days prior to the workshop starting you will receive a full refund. However after that you will only receive half the workshop cost as the willow will be in the process of preparation. You may be able to move your workshop place depending on your situation and availability.
